Larry Holmes, P.MGR, RCM, ACCI, FCCI, ARM
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Holmes is a founding partner of Larlyn Property Management, one of the largest fee-based property management companies in Canada.    Larry is responsible for the overall vision and strategic direction of Larlyn and is a driving force behind Larlyn’s “customer service” initiatives.

Mr. Holmes has over 40 years hands-on experience in the areas of finance, banking, construction, and property management and has spent 23 years in various assignments, both in Canada and overseas, working with a Fortune 500 corporation.  He oversaw various corporate responsibilities ranging from marketing and product development to customer service and setting up the Fortune 500 corporation’s international operations.

Mr. Holmes is experienced in building retrofits and renovations, being well versed in the value added approach to property management.

He has served as President of the Association of Condominium Managers and currently serves on the National Board of Directors for the Canadian Condominium Institute.  He maintains a professional association with the Canadian Institute of Management.  He also attends various conferences where he is an invited speaker.

Mr. Holmes has obtained his Professional Manager designation from the Canadian Institute of Management, his Accredited Residential Manager designation, his Registered Condominium Manager designation, and both his Accreditation and Fellowship from the Canadian Condominium Institute. 

 

 

Michael Holmes, MBA, CPM, RCM, CMOC, ACCI, ARM
President & Chief Operating Officer

As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Holmes is responsible for the execution of the Company's operating and corporate development strategy.  Michael manages the strategic planning process, operating management effectiveness and best practices, all focused on driving internal growth and a high level of customer satisfaction.  Based on over 13 years of experience in the real estate management industry, Mr. Holmes strongly promotes the concept of optimizing customer service and encouraging associate teamwork at all levels.

Mr. Holmes offers clients a solid background managing all types of performing and non-performing real estate. As part of the management of all properties, he is involved in the due diligence process and completes a review and an analysis of properties, including specific recommendations and accurate assessments of the current status.

Mr. Holmes has served as a Director of the Real Estate Institute of Canada, London chapter and the Association of Condominium Managers where he was a Chair of the Regional Committee and a member of the Certification & Standards Committee.

Mr. Holmes holds an Masters of Business Administration degree from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.  He has also received the Certified Property Manager designation and the Accredited Residential Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, the Certified Manager of Condominiums designation from the Real Estate Institute of Canada, the Registered Condominium Manager designation from the Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario and  the professional accreditation from the Canadian Condominium Institute .  Mr. Holmes is also a Broker.

 
 

Ed Rosenbaum, CA
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Rosenbaum is responsible for the overall financial management of the Company and for the properties under Larlyn's administration.

 Prior to joining Larlyn, Ed was Controller and an integral part of the Senior Management Team for TSC Stores during a period of significant revenue and location growth.   Ed articled and spent several years at Grant Thornton LLP in London and Mississauga.  He has experience in every aspect of financial management ranging from very detailed to high level, big picture analysis.  Under his supervision, Larlyn's accounting and finance departments provide a full range of services including financial analysis and planning, acquisitions analysis and negotiation, computerized cost control, preparation of annual operating budgets, diligent record keeping and reporting procedures, together with financial forecasting and cash flow management.

Mr. Rosenbaum holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario.

 

 

Audrey McGuire, RCM
Regional Vice President

Ms. McGuire is Regional Vice-President and responsible for the strategic management of properties in Golden Horseshoe, Niagara and Western Toronto regions.  She is charged with leading a local management team in delivering superior customer service to all residents and ensuring that all properties are maintained to Larlyn's high building standards .

 Audrey was raised and educated in business studies within the United Kingdom. She started her career in Canada as a Marketing Coordinator with a large company based in Toronto. She then moved on to Supervising a Call Centre for a fortune 500 company in the Greater Toronto Area. She then decided to pursue and fulfill the role as Branch Manager of Service for a chemical company. During this term of employment Audrey implemented and introduced new training policies and procedures to enhance the business and upgrade the customer service levels internally. Audrey’s specialty and expertise is in customer service and client relations. Audrey is currently enrolled in a business management program.

 

Ruth Lazare, ACCI
Regional Vice President

Ms. Lazare is Regional Vice-President and responsible for the strategic management of the condominiums and residential properties in the Greater Toronto Area. She is charged with leading a local management team in delivering superior customer service to all residents and ensuring that all properties are maintained to Larlyn's high building standards .

Ruth has over 28 years' experience in the Property Management of condominiums and rental properties with Bramalea Limited, Brookfield Property Management, Minto Management, Vice-President, Condominiums for Greenwin Property Management and Larlyn Property Management Ltd.

She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Toronto Apartment Association and Chair of the Education and Training Committee for the Greater Toronto Apartment Association. Ruth is a member of Association of Condominium Managers and the Canadian Condominium Institute where she has received her accreditation.

 

Lynne Holmes, RCM
Regional Vice President

Mrs. Holmes is Regional Manager and responsible for the strategic management of properties in London/Middlesex/Oxford/Perth/Lambton Counties. She is charged with leading a local management team in delivering superior customer service to all residents and ensuring that all properties are maintained to Larlyn's high building standards.

 Lynne has 33 years experience in the property management industry servicing residential and condominium properties since 1975. 

Lynne is highly service-oriented and a graduate of the Canadian Condominium Institute Property Manager and Director’s Course and has received her Registered Condominium Manager designation from the Association of Condominium Managers. 

 

Debbie Wilson, RCM, ACCI
Regional
Vice President

Ms. Wilson is Regional Vice-President for Alberta and is responsible for the strategic management of properties in Edmonton and throughout Alberta.   She is charged with leading a provincial management team in delivering superior customer service to all residents and ensuring that all properties are maintained to Larlyn's high building standards .

Debbie has over 25 years experience in the property management industry. Prior to joining Larlyn, she was the Manager of Condominium Division of Minto Management and Vice-President of Axia Property Management.  She is the teacher of an online Condo Law course through Mohawk College on behalf of the Association of Condominium Managers. You can also find her involved in numerous condominium seminars as a speaker, organizer and moderator.

 Debbie brings with her the benefit of having belonged to both the Association of Condominium Managers  and the Canadian Condominium Institute. Her active participation in these groups has enabled her to serve on the Board of Directors of Association of Condominium Managers and as the past Chapter President of the Canadian Condominium Institute. Debbie received her Registered Condominium Manager designation in 1992 and her accreditation from the Canadian Condominium Institute in 1998. 

Debbie’s team of managers are exceptional in a vibrant market and take great pride in meeting and exceeding their customer’s expectations, something rare in the current economic environment of Alberta.

 

Lucien Roy, CPM, FRI(E), ACCI, ACM, CMOC
Regional
Accounts Manager

Lucien Roy is the senior management executive charged with overseeing the management of Homeowner Associations and in facilitating the transition of new properties  so as to ensure that all new customers experience a seamless transition.

Lucien has over 23 years experience in the property and asset management business, dealing in the management of condominiums, residential, commercial, office towers, retail plazas, mixed used residential & commercial buildings and co-operative housing.  Prior to joining Larlyn he held the positions of Branch Manager for Rancho Realty, Vice President of Berdean Management & Realty Ltd., Vice President of Estate Properties Incorporated and Vice President, Property Management with Ayre & Oxford. He brings to his clients a solid background in business operations and financial accountability combined with an exceptional passion for customer service. 

Being fully committed to learning he is continually initiating better ways to improve investments and buildings.   He has been teaching at the Real Estate Institute of Canada for the past 10 years and has built custom courses on Condominium Property Management.

Lucien has earned his Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management, his Fellow of the Real Estate Institute designation and his Certified Manager of Condominiums designation from the Real Estate Institute of Canada, his Associate of the Canadian Condominium Institute and his Accredited Community Manager designation from the Association of Condominium Managers of Alberta. He also holds a real estate license with the Real Estate Council of Alberta .

Lucien is  currently is a Director on the Northern Chapter of the Canadian Condominium Institute, a Director with the Association of Condominium Managers of Alberta and a Director with the Edmonton Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).  He is also the Past President of the Real Estate Institute of Canada for 2007-2008 and is a previous member of the Licensing Education Committee with the Real Estate Council of Alberta.

 

Dana Gysen, ACM
Regional Manager

Ms. Gysen is Regional Manager and responsible for the strategic management of the  properties in Calgary. She is charged with leading a local management team in delivering superior customer service to all residents and ensuring that all properties are maintained to Larlyn's high building standards .

Dana has over twenty years’ experience in property management and has gained valuable experience in a variety of roles within the industry. She has been active in all aspects of private housing including but not limited to Residential, Commercial, and Condominiums.

Dana received University Degrees in Telecommunications and Microelements in Electronics. She has obtained the Accredited Condominium Manager designation and is an active member of the Association of Condominium Managers of Alberta.

 

Jim Church, RCM
Regional
Manager

 Mr. Church is Regional Manager and responsible for the strategic management of properties in Windsor/Essex County. He is charged with leading a local management team in delivering superior customer service to all residents and ensuring that all properties are maintained to Larlyn's high building standards.

Jim has worked in housing for over 20 years in both the public and private sector.  His post secondary education includes a diploma in accounting and social welfare achieved through St. Clair College.  Mr. Church spent several years in the public sector working in various government programs which provided services to those individuals and families who were homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in such initiatives as the Salvation Army’s Housing Help Centre located in Chatham, Ontario

 Following a shift in government policy with respect to public housing, Mr. Church entered the private sector as a Property Manager in 1995.  He has been active in all aspects of private housing since that time including but not limited to Non-Profit Housing, Residential, Commercial, Co-operatives and Condominiums. In addition, he achieved his Registered Condominium Manager designation from the Association of Condominium Managers in 2001. 

 Jim is on the Canadian Condominium Institute – Windsor Branch, Board of Directors, and is a member of the Association of Condominium Manager's Regional Expansion Committee and a Local Network Liaison for the Ontario Non Profit Housing Association.

 

 

Lesley Pitchforth, RCM
Regional Manager

 Ms. Pitchforth is Regional Manager and responsible for the strategic management of properties in Chatham/Kent.  She is charged with leading a local management team in delivering superior customer service to all residents and ensuring that all properties are maintained to Larlyn's high building standards .

Lesley has been in the property management industry for the past 20 years.  She has been active in all aspects of private housing including but not limited to Non-Profit Housing, Residential, Commercial, and Condominiums.

Lesley has received her Registered Condominium Manager designation from the Association of Condominium Managers and is a Local Network Liaison for the Ontario Non Profit Housing Association. She is active in a number of Non Profit Housing Sector and Condominium organizations, conferences and meetings.

 

Barbara Dejonckheere, CGA
Assistant Controller, Client Accounting

Ms Dejonckheere  is the Assistant Controller, Client Accounting where she is responsible for the accounting managerial functions of condominium, commercial, non-profit and residential portfolios throughout Canada.

Barbara started with Larlyn in 1989 and has held positions within both the corporate and client accounting divisions. Barbara has obtained her Certified General Accountant's designation from the Certified General Accountant's Association of Canada, her Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Laurentian University and her Business-Accounting Diploma from Fanshawe College.  She has also been an internal auditor and oversaw training for the TS16949 (QS9000) registration.  She has also held the positions of Financial Analyst for EMCO Ltd. and Plant Controller for Vari-Form Inc.

 

 

Klaas Vlieger, CMA
Accounting Manager

Mr. Vlieger  is an Accounting Manager where he is responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for Larlyn’s Commercial portfolio and also shares the responsibility for overseeing the operations of the National Client Accounting team.

Klaas Vlieger is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University. He has accumulated more than thirteen years’ experience in the accounting and finance sectors. He started his career as a General Accountant, and then held various accounting management positions, the most recent being Accounting Manager at CDI Professional Services Ltd. & Asset Computer Personnel. Klaas is also a national marker for the CMA Strategic Leadership Program.

 

 

Bryan Simon-Rasiah, CMA
Accounting Manager


Mr. Simon-Rasiah  is an Accounting Manager where he is responsible for all accounting managerial functions for the condominium and residential division in the Greater Toronto Area.

Bryan has been a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) since 1989 and has held many managerial accounting positions in the property management/construction industry over the past 18 years. Bryan began his property management career with Del Property Management and Greenwin Property Management as Accounting Supervisor and subsequently Accounting Manager.  He was also the Financial Controller for a large construction company for seven years, prior to joining the property management industry.

He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, Georgia, USA), a Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA, UK) and a Chartered Accountant (FCA, Sri Lanka).
